How to dry period pants

I have started using period pants and they are so thick and absorb so much water in the washing machine they take forever to dry. You can't put them in dryer but I am not keen on having them on the radiator around the house for all and sundry to see. Any other solutions? Also if dryer bad for them wouldn't radiator be bad too? Honestly, they take about a week to dry. In summer they can go on the washing line

I put mine in the oven once when I forgot to wash enough for the next day! Low oven. They still seem ok. 🤣

Can't you put them outside to dry?
I line dry all year. If there is breeze or sunshine clothes dry fairly well. I line dry even with frost or snow on the ground.

I’d do an extra spin in the washing machine on spin only cycle, then put them on a radiator, maybe an out of the way radiator if you’re not keen on them being seen? I know most of these things say heat is bad but honestly, in the UK, in winter you’ll just end up with musty smelling clothes when they take forever to dry!

I also agree with line drying even when cold - it’s just unfortunate I live in the west of Scotland where cold normally = wet too Sad

I Chuck mine in the dryer. They’re fine

Maskedstranger · 07/10/2021 19:32

outside on washing line, then finish off on heated airer / radiator

Clairey844 · 07/10/2021 19:34

Airing cupboard would work.

MoreThanAnOffDay · 07/10/2021 19:38

Higher or extra spin then line dry or rad?

SylvanasWindrunner · 07/10/2021 19:39

I tumble dry mine on low and no issues

GoldStarAngel · 07/10/2021 19:58

We don’t have an airing cupboard. Maybe I will try tumble drying low

I just pop mine on a line dryer inside and they dry over night - they don't come out soaking wet though as I was them with a high spin

Frlrlrubert · 07/10/2021 20:05

I've tumble dried mine on low as well and no issues so far. Probably not ideal, and I'll likely avoid it once I've bought a few more pairs so I don't run out so quick.

purpledagger · 07/10/2021 20:06

I normally line dry during the summer. Otherwise, it's normally the radiator and occasionally low tumble drier.

Bigeggsinapackoften · 07/10/2021 20:07

Bedroom radiator?

purplesequins · 07/10/2021 20:11

socktopus in a drafty area in the house?

the ones we have dry quickly on the line in the attick or on the socktopus

Charlieandlola · 07/10/2021 20:12

I use a Heated towel rail . Id tumble on low or invest in a heated airer

ISpyCobraKai · 07/10/2021 20:13

I second bedroom radiator.
They just look like pants anyway, surely the members of your house know you wear underwear? Confused
