Shite day. Drama upon drama and a dozen work fuck ups to sort out.

Got home, had a good 3 glasses of wine by 6pm, and sat down for some telly, thought I'd cheer myself up with some OFAH, and it's Grandad's funeral.

I'm always slightly pissed off by how soon Grandad's replaced. But that's swiftly followed by Albert falling down the cellar stairs then being outed by trying to claim compo for falling down the stairs in about 50 other pubs...

I love the one where Del pretends to be the ghost of someone Grandad has wronged (slept with his wife??) by talking down a down a traffic cone behind him. Absolutely hilarious. It made me howl with lighter as a kid and it does the same to me now.

That was originally filmed with Lennard Pearce. The scene of Mike looking up is the original one with him looking at Grandad. There are some shots with Lennard in online.

Yes, he was a brilliant actor. He sadly died of lung cancer - he apparently smoked up to 80 cigarettes a day.

Del Boy is one of comedies best creations ever.
John Sullivan was a terrific writer.

I challenge you to watch The que sera sera scene in The Queen Of Sheba Royle family special.Anyone who doesn't cry at that has a swinging brick instead of a heart.It gets me .everytime.

I love this episode, it's so moving, always makes me cry every time I watch it.

Just been to see Only Fools Musical in London. all the iconic scenes in it, the cast were so good you could almost imagine they were the originals. The audience were always holding their breath waiting for the next thing to happen.

I've seen the musical too, it's great isn't it! Paul Whitehouse was adorable.
