Washing clothes in hotel

Weve booked a two week holiday next year ( excited!!)
Anyway we usually stay in a villa or accommodation with a washing machine, so I generally do a couple of washes throughout our stay,
I've never stayed for a long time in a hotel usually just weekends away etc so don't know what to do, do you wash your swimming stuff and any clothes that may have got a bit dirty or do you just take a change of clothes for every night you are away?

I bring enough changes, bikini gets a wash daily with some shower gel and is dried properly outside if there’s a balcony.

Check the hotel website - they may have a laundry service, though they tend to be fairly pricey.

Swimwear gets rinsed through daily and hung up to dry. I take enough underwear for the whole time I'm away, and enough daytime clothes. Evening wear I can normally wear 2 or 3 times if it's only on for around 5 hours. 3 sets of nightwear, and some slippers as the floors are normally tiled. I always pack some Dr Beckman travel wash as well just in case as that's good for handwashing in a sink, but v rarely use it

Hotel laundry is normally very expensive but most places have a local laundry which is much cheaper. I always pay for two service washes, one at the end of week 1 and then 1 the day before we leave. I don't want to come home to lots of washing.a

You can buy small travel bottles of hand wash and use the bath. We did that when staying in a hotel with our (at the time) 5 month old.

Wear something for an evening, then demoted it to day wear later in the holiday.
I take enough to wear without washing, but wear stuff more than once. If I'm running short, I rinse the cleanest stuff in the bath, and drip dry.

I take travel hand wash and wash dirty/sweaty things in the bath, i also take something like fabreeze to freshen things that aren't dirty.
Swimwear we all have 2 of so one gets washed after a day at the pool and spends the next day drying on the balcony

Thanks all x will have to pack the travel wash and hope that stuff can dry on the balcony! It's more the DCs clothes than mine, I'm not a messy eater like them!!

I usually throw a few laundry capsules in a zip lock bag (they seem to be better value and wash better than the travel wash). Then once or twice during the holiday I'll hand wash a few smaller, lighter bits in the sink. I don't usually bother with heavier items like jeans, its way too much faff. I'll then leave them to dry on a hanger in the bathroom or on the balcony. Luckily if you're somewhere nice and sunny things usually dry by the end of the day, especially if you can dry them outside. Oh, and pack a travel sized bottle of Febreze!
