Was watching a music countdown the other day and one of the songs from dirty dancing came on, I casually mentioned to my mum how I like the song but dislike the movie.... my mum almost lost her shit....
Like it was a criminal offence to not like it.

Some things on TikTok are helpful. Though I admit the majority is crap! My son has ADHD and I've found some really good hints and tips, as well as general solidarity with it on there.

Thank you felicitybeedle. I loathe almost all music. Also very much a radio 4 person, and get very intolerant of almost all music....particularly when on a supposed 'speech radio station. It's not as if there aren't hundreds of stations to listen to if you are into music.
Very limited music I like. The 'miserere' by Gregori is a piece I want to dies to. Couple of tracks from 'fisherman's friends'. And a duet from 'the pearl fishers'.
I had come to the conclusion I am slightly autistic inn my dislike of noise.

Coffee. I want to like it but is bitter and gross. It's alright if it's a drink from Costa like the cold chocolate or carmal frappuccino (I think that's what its called)

Eating 3 hours before bed. Lots of people do it but it makes me bloated, I feel horrible in the morning.

Seafood. Its slime and smelly. The thought of touching an alive fish freaks me out, never mind eating one. Everyone seems to love salmon and tuna, I dont get it.

Rap music. The song writing and extremely quick rapping is a talent but to me it isnt music. I like eminem, but other than that it all sounds the same. When my sister plays it or it a good song is ruined by a rap verse, I feel anger and disgust. I hate it so much just thinking about rap annoys me.
