What would this 1950s baby food be?

Reading old paperwork of family and there’s a description of baby food in the late 50s/early 60s …

Baby was fed NDM (?MDM) mixed with water and sugar … presume that’s formula of some sort? I can’t find anything online that even vaguely matches up . The way it’s written it sounds like a powder but not sure . Just wondering if mumsnet has any ideas !

My DM used this as she was a child minder so I remember it. In the 50's it was usual to bf for 6 weeks then bottle feed. I may have had NDM but obviously can't remember!
