I know, I know, should have bought one at the start of summer but didn't have the cash. If I wait till next year DH will change his mind so here we are...

Budget is £650 ish
Have an outdoor socket
Would like to comfortably seat 4 adults

Anything you wise mumsnetters recommend?
Interested to hear opinions on lazyspa/cleverspa/intex as I've heard mixed things.
Thank you! 😊

I'm very happy with my Wave hot tub and I have this one...

wavespas.com/collections/wave-spas-inflatable-hottubs/products/atlantic-plus-tropical-inflatable-hot-tub-4-6-person

It would fit 4 adults. It's easy to set up and change/ clean the filter etc.

We have a lazy Spa and LOVE it. I think it’s one of the best things we’ve bought! It’s labelled as 5-6 people but realistically I’d say ok for 4. Highly recommend. Mat bought separately. Heats up in about 4 hours, set up very very easy. xo

We have the Lazy Spa Vegas, it's a round 4-6 people that fits 4 adults comfortably. It was @£500 from Homebase. Another £50 or so for the mats. We LOVE it. OH and DSs use every night, me just at w/e (hair issues Grin ). Do it, you wont regret it.

We have a lazy spa. It's a bit of a pita to put up and take down but when you're in it it's well worth the effort.

Ooh brilliant! Thanks all. Sounds like it is definitely a good purchase then.
What models of lazy spa do you all have? I'm a bit bamboozled with all the choice on offer!

I had a Vegas for 3 years. We loved sitting in it etc etc but The ISSUES! (Largely leaks from tubes/ the heater/ the bubble inlet valve). Get yourself on the FB forums.

We've slightly 'upgraded' to an Intex Greywood. Not helpful, I know, given that you have a Layzspa!

But, here are the things about them:

You HAVE to stay on top of the chemistry. It's really easy to do but if you don't, you enter a whole world of problems. Don't 'leave it a day or two'. You'll always read of mavericks who got 'just jump in!' But- okay, filled with tap water. Through a hose that's been sitting out breeding legionella. And heated to 38 degrees. Soup.

Look at the Youtube videos that'll explain the importance of correct pH. That's key.

If you have hordes of kids in and out of it, SHOCK it often. Don't encourage or even allow head-dunking.

We don't shower etc before going in; but it's me and DH so we're reasonably clean!

Insulate, insulate, insulate. It costs!

I love my inflatable hot tub: I use it 7 nights a week, but even though we're pretty experienced. I check the chemistry at least once a week. Usually needs pH plus.

Enjoy.

We've got a small lazy spa, which we enjoy. I'm about to pack it away for the winter.

Just to pre-warn you... My electric bills when though the roof since getting it.
