:)

Just thought it might be a useful thread.

For me, I was given a click track method by a colleague. It is meant for anxiety but I use it to help me sleep. Happy to email that to anyone interested.

I also like the guided meditations on youtube.

What about anyone else-anything you swear by and don't mind sharing? :)

It's a bit older now, but the book Mind Over Mood is a really good resource to walk you through basic CBT.

There's another book The Body Keeps The Score by Bessel Van Der Kolk which is excellent for understanding trauma better.

That second one sounds especially interesting. I will add it to my ever-lengthening list of things to read!

@Bitchbadgerplease What's the click track method?
I've yet to find a book or resource that helps tbh. When I'm in the middle of a bad patch of anxiety and depression the last thing I want to do is something that will benefit me! I need to learn to recognise when it's not so bad and tale action then, instead of leaving it till it's really bad.

It works on tapping motions with your hands. It's an audio file, I can send it to you if you don't mind PMing me an email handle.

It has worked for a lot of my clients for anxiety/trauma, and for me for insomnia.
