So do feel free to ignore if you're bored of the subject but I'm really shocked about our fuel bill. It's doubled from £100 to £200 a month for a 3 bedroom house, heating off and reasonably well insulated. It's shocking, well I was shocked anyway!

I'm terrified, we're in a new build house that's freezing in the winter.
I don't think we'll be able to afford heating for ore than 1hr per day this year and will rely strongly on blankets, layers and hot cups of tea.
It takes me back to my childhood (early 90's) where we had no central heating and we all huddled around the fire like something from yesteryear.... only now we don't have a bloody fire! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was with peoples energy paying £57 a month for both! They have gone bust and I've been moved to British Gas. I haven't been told the new tariff yet and it's the not knowing that I hate. It's just hanging over me all the time.
