I know no one has a crystal ball or my child directly in from of them but I just wanted to muster some opinions please. My 2.5 year old son is complaining of a 'sore mouth' when he eats chocolate (he was given a freddo yesterday and cried eating it), I shared a single twirl with him today and he did the same. He is eating other foods seemingly without issue. Currently having some bread sticks before bed with no complaints! The last of his back teeth are not in yet but he will not let me anywhere near his mouth to have a look if they are on their way. He doesn't seem to have any pain when he's not eating either. He seems really young to have any kind of tooth pain/problems or sensitivity so I'm not sure it could be that? Does this sound like it could be teething and the gums are just more sensitive to the sweetness? He hasn't had anything else sweet today. Obviously I will contact the dentist tomorrow and try and have a look if it is those back ones coming through while he's asleep later.
