I'm so cross. I run a Facebook page at work for potential and current students in an educational establishment.
The page doesn't sell anything, doesn't ask for money, doesn't run competitions. We use it to bring together our students and alumni, share news, details of forthcoming talks and events etc.
Anyway, the fekkers at FB have unpublished the page, citing that it 'breaches community standards'. I am at a loss to understand why. The only thing that I can think of is that I had three consecutive posts over about a 3 week period which either celebrated our students winning awards, or our staff. Could these be construed as being competitions?
I've contacted fb three times now but haven't even had an acknowledgement. Its terms of service aren't helpful and I'm no further forward . We have over 3000 followers on our page - I want it back!!
Has anyone been in this position, or has any thoughts on what I can do next? Thanks!
