Would you message a reception teacher about a bad nights sleep

DS (4) is struggling with his sleep lately and didn't go to sleep until 10pm and woke up at 3.30. I fell back asleep but I'm pretty sure he hasn't gone back to sleep and has woken me up at 6. He's in good spirits now but I'm wondering if I should message school and let them know or just leave it?
He does have sensory issues so does struggle with concentration at the best of times.

Definitely tell the teacher. There's a good chance he will struggle today and it will help her to know why.

I would mention it.

Yes I would. I work in as a TA in a reception class and that sort of thing is handy to know.

Absolutely. Heads up are so handily and if he isn't coping they can spot it early with the inside knowledge and let him lie down in a quiet corner with a cuddly toy (that's what our school would do anyway)

Yes, our school asked to tell us about these things. They then kept an eye on the child and more then once arranged a quite corner for them to sit (and fall asleep).

Thanks everyone, I've sent her a message on the school app
