Good morning Mumsnet! What are you all up to today?

I'm just finishing my first cup of tea of the day, in slience, as always. Even my neighbours' kids aren't out yet, which is unusual.

I'm going to get dd1 up in ten - we're going to have a steady walk into town for school tights (already!) and a few other bits. I'll do some of my Rainbows and Guides shopping while we're there too.

Dd2's going to stay with her dad, and hopefully she'll do her technology homework.

Dd1's cooking tonight. Fajita chicken (using a packet of seasoning stuff) with noodles, rice and stir fried veg as sides.

I expect the girls will be busy Minecrafting, or watching Minecraft streamers, later on. I plan to make the heel portion of the crochet sock I'm working on.

Just about to have coffee and cinnamon buns for breakfast (I love having older DC - no more 6am starts!), then DH and I are going for lunch and a walk along the canal.

DC3 (14) is not sure what he’s doing today with his friends but it doesn’t involve his parents!

DC2 is just off a night shift - she was on the oncology ward so I suspect it’s been a tough one - and she’s now catching up on sleep.

DC1 lives with his GF and they’re off on holiday today.

DH is taking DS1 & DS2 to watch football in his hometown. They will be gone 10am-8pm. DS2 & DS3 have a season ticket between them. So DS3 (7) is staying at home with me & we are having a yes day. He has chosen to go on the bus to crazy golf, then on the bus again into town for lunch. Am thinking Pizza Hut as we have a gift card for there. Will probably buy him an ice cream along the way, which I don't normally when all 3 DSes are there as it is too expensive.

Feeling rather pleased as yesterday I was called & offered the job I have always dreamed of (village librarian in the village I grew up in) 🤩

I've been listing baby items on Facebook marketplace, just having a coffee before I wake my 11 month old DD up from her nap. Feeling a bit tired as she woke up at 4.30am. 😭
Partner has had to pop in to work to help set up for an event. When he gets back we are going to visit a local military museum for free as it's Open Heritage weekend.

Still in bed enjoying the peace, DD and DH downstairs having breakfast. Will have to get up soon and deal with the menagerie. DD has a riding lesson at 2, will be sweet chilli beef stir fry for tea and then DD has requested a film night. A fairly chilled out day after the first week back at school

DS is staying his dads and DP is away with work until tonight so I’ve had a rare morning in bed alone and a day to myself! I’m going to get up and showered soon, have a quick tidy then head into town. I’m going to treat myself to some new skincare stuff then go to the cinema to watch Respect, I love going to the cinema alone but don’t often get chance. I’ll pick up up some Colins from m&s to snack on! Then home, snacky tea then I’m going to a little party for my friend who’s just been offered her dream job then I’ll head home about 10ish to await the arrival of DP who’ll be tipsy (to say the least) after a whole day of team bonding that includes a very drunken lunch and horse racing! So all in all a good day

Already taken ds to swimming lesson, cleared the kitchen and put the washing on. I'm about to hit the front garden, I'm half way through clearing the front flower bed which is about 15 metres long (odd shaped garden).

I have some redecorating planned for this afternoon, before pampering bath, general laziness, a glass of wine and salmon for supper. I don't need to food shop until Monday or Tuesday

I am currently sat in my car listening to the radio and reading my kindle waiting for dd to finish her 11+ exam. Then off to pick up dd2 from my lovely babysitter friend who took her at 7:45 this morning and is taking her to her gymnastics lesson for me.
Celebratory lunch to reward dd1's effort & then she has a friend over for a sleepover.
Enjoying my hour's peace and quiet.

Actually had a lie in, as both kids were a pain in the night. Out at the park, then to a coffee morning, nap time, then my dbro is picking us up, dropping me, dh and one month old for our anniversary dinner and keeping my two year old with him. Result!

Have to hoover/sort laundry/ wash my hair and make myself presentable first!

So I'm sat having a cuppa while she changes my sheets
DS1 is in the shower as he's off out with friends in a bit.
DS2 is reading and DD is playing barbie.

Their dad will pick up DD and DS2 after lunch (DS1 won't go)

Then I'll take the opportunity to do my nails (I do my own acrylics) and have a nap

I've got up and worked out now waiting for breakfast. Dh is making us mushrooms and toast for breakfast.

All dc have emerged from their bedrooms and are mooching around on tech. We're either going to go seaglass hunting or go for a cycle on the cycle track late morning/early afternoon once we eat and shower.

I'm still in PJs.

I need to get showered etc and then we're heading out to the pub with other martial artists as we're planning a multi art seminar.

Then when home I plan on making a start on the xmas shopping. DH is under the weather so expect he'll end up back in bed.

Wasn't too well yesterday but after tea and toast I think I'm thankfully feeling better. Washing up in a minute, shower then waking ds at 11 as he is going for his first jab today. The vaccination Centre is only 5 minutes walk away. I will go with him for moral support. We will stop at a cafe/get sandwiches after. Mum is coming at 2 for tea and a chat. Ds will probably be doing something with his mates this afternoon or doing homework. Dh is asleep in bed until later as he works night shifts. Will probably do something like cottage pie for tea. Bit of TV before dh goes to work.

I have been pottering this morning and now I am about to get ready to take DS to his Nan and then go to reminisce festival for an evening of raving!

Up as usually before 7 with all 3 kids. Managed to get two loads of washing done before we needed to leave the house! Winner

Currently at the park with our 3 plus eldest best friend. Debate with DH over lunch out or not.

DH will watch F1 qualifying this afternoon while kids play and I try to get another coat on the kitchen cupboards

No idea what dinner is maybe homemade burgers 🍔

Dh taken his very elderly dad for his flu jab.
Dd2 is in bed
Dd3 is doing homework and going in the gym before her friends come round this evening for her 16 th birthday party
(Birthday was yesterday)

Currently in the bath working off my hangover. Will head into town with DD and DS to get their feet measured and probably more new school shoes.
Then heading to an ale festival later on with a friend, I have an opportunity to meet a band I have always loved (very big in the 90s) and have a cuddle!!!!! Very excited.

Definitely no booze for me today though..

Trying to have a quiet cuppa and toast ! Off to look for a goodwood revival outfit later !!

DC are with their dad this weekend so I'll probably be chopping up a few lines and summoning my FWB for some afternoon sport.

Then I might nip out for a few bits.

Dp and I are watching Brooklyn 99 in bed. Dd1 has gone to the posh craft fair in Bovey tracey with grandma. Dd2 is with exh with plans to go to the circus at lunchtime. It's the last week of no dance lessons and a free Saturday.

I'm not planning much today as I'm doing my first on call night shift tonight for the ££.

Might do some decluttering in a bit and have a good clean. Dp might put a roof on the 🐰 run outside.

I hobbled into town to send off a Ziffit parcel (I have a whole £6 coming my way!). I've just indulged in a tin of spaghetti hoops and am now waiting for a friend to pick me up. He wants to buy some shelves so we're going to do a tour of some charity furniture shops. Oh and I emptied the bin! 🤣

Usual dull weekend chores. Done two loads of washing, swept kitchen and done dishes, done supermarket shop. Bored now.No motivation to do anything at the moment.

Yep thats me.

The inside is now completely finished, the outdoor area needs a bit of work, its perfectly usable, just a bit boring as its either grass or tarmac. Its an old stable so I’ve boughr cobbles so we can remove the tarmac and cobble the path and make a patio area to the front.

Body pump class at home, online Tesco delivery put away and 6k walk around the woods already done

Catching up with the washing and starting to gather bits of packing for holiday next week . Dinner is freezer portions of a lasagne I made a couple of weeks ago .

Going to spend that afternoon in the back garden reading the papers while ds and dd are at work and Dh watches the Grand Prix . Weekends are so much more relaxing now we have older teens

Sneezing and more sneezing! Covid positive for the 3rd time in 18 months. Yay me.
One DD is full of something but the LFT says it’s not Covid so she is just wallowing. DD2 is tired from back to school and is just lazing around in her comfy clothes.
DH has been to do some work (nowhere with people) and is now in the bath. They don’t have to isolate just waiting on PCR tests to come and being sensible.
I get up every now and again and do a few jobs then go back for a lie down.
