Posting here for a bit more traffic

I have an interview Monday at my local hospice as a nursing associate.
Any tips
I've done some brain storming around respite and palliative care.
But now I'm panicking . I really want this job

No body has contacted me 🤷🏻‍♀️ so assuming I've not got the job .

It's bad manners if they haven't contacted you, they should let you know either way.. you can call them but if they didnt give you the job and haven't bothered calling then they are not the people you want to work with anyway. It might come in the post.

I've checked emails as that's how the invite to the interview came through. I think it's I've not had a full years experience in the role and that was a desirable.
I will call before I get into work if I've not heard anything, if only for feedback.

Check your spam folder to. If you were unsuccessful something else will come along. It's always good to get feedback.

So I phoned them. I didn't get the top marks. They gave the job to someone with experience of working in a hospice.
Got good feedback.
I thanked them for the opportunity of an interview . They encouraged me to apply again if another post comes up.
Thank you everyone for your help and advice in the run up.

Ah, man, that's tough. But it sounds like they liked you and there's nothing you can do when someone with that experience is up against you. (Although it always makes me wonder how one is supposed to get the experience needed if you can't get the job without the experience iyswim?).

Flowers it's gutting isn't it?

They said I came across confident. Gave good structured answers and please apply for further positions.
I told her it was my first interview as a qualified and she was actually surprised!
It was a good experience and something to positively reflect on.

Well that is really positive as if they hated you, they wouldn't have asked you to apply again. It sounds like you were unlucky against someone with more experience.

I would keep looking as hospices are always advertising (at least all the ones I know are flipping desperate)
