Legoland...

Am planning a last minute trip to Legoland this Wednesday as my two DC don’t go back to school until Thursday. Just trying to work out if I need to splash out on the queue jumping passes as presumably almost every other child in the country is back at school! Has anyone been in term time? Is it still busy?

Would guess it’s a lot quieter there this week. You can check the queue times on the app

Looks like today most rides have queues of 30 mins or so, so still pretty busy!

We went early July so English school holidays. There must have been a lot of other Scottish families there too!

There was a sign at the front saying pre-booked visits only (no season tickets) because they were full.

The signs said the queues for medium rides (the boats, submarines, fire engines, Ninjago computer game thing) were around 30-40 minutes but actually we queued for around 20 minutes each time - I think the queue markers weren't accounting for the number of people distancing in the queues. The big rides said queues were about an hour (but we didn't go on them so not sure on the actual times).

I hate crowds and found it wasn't too bad.

Thanks all - have just downloaded the app which I had no idea existed so that’s brilliant! I think we probably will go for the lowest level of queue jumping just in case. The boys are keen to pack in as much as possible (I feel exhausted already). I’m presuming the online prices on their website are the cheapest option, but it isn’t cheap is it Shock.
Anything else I should know? As you can probably tell I’m a Legoland virgin...

I managed to go just when it reopened this summer when my son's school happened to be shut for the day and it was great, barely waited for anything when a friend who goes several times a year says they usually only manage about 5 rides during a day - I imagine you'll do better than 5 rides but it'll probably be a tad busier when I was there, found it very manageable.

There's always kids go free vouchers for legoland. I think Kellogs have them on cereal boxes at the mo, if not have a Google and some will pop up.
