Can you share what you are getting or have got your 14 year old boys this year for their birthday that were a hit?

Would be much appreciated. He knows what for his main gift but I would like to get him some smaller ones this year as it has been a tough year for him

Thanks in advance.

I bought my grandson a mini fridge for his bedroom. It cost £30 and I put a couple of cans of his favourite drink in it and a bar of chocolate . He absolutely loved it and took photos of it to send to his mum and friends showing them his fabulous present ( his words not mine)

Great ideas so far - I think the mini fridge is probably a goer. And the gift vouchers for drinks / coffee shop too. Appreciate the time taken to type of your lists.

Please do keep them coming. The problem is at this age, they are into such specific things its very difficult to surprise them!

Money. Then he bought a gaming PC with all his money accrued in his savings account.

Yes the main gift is money as he wants to choose either a drone or a GPU for gaming himself.

I miss spending time choosing thoughtful useful gifts for him now he knows his own mind and it is al just cold hard cash!

At the same time I don't want to buy him anything stocking filler type that won't get full use and would end up in landfill!

The subway voucher is a good idea as it's a gift to open which isn't the cash but I can guarantee would get fully used!

He is not into clothes really or things like aftershave.

He is academic, computer mad (coding and design) and a bit geeky.

Led strip lights? Some can be controlled by Alexa or a remote - Govee are a good brand
