Can't sleep... What's on your mind tonight?

Way past my bedtime. But tiredly awake..thinking about the mountain of work I have to get through tomorrow before the weekend.
What's on your mind tonight?

Just turned 60 and got my lump sum from Teachers Pensions. Thought the day would never come. Wondering whether to invest in another btl or not.

DH felt unwell and took a LF test and it was positive. We all had to go and get PCR test but all were negative including DH. Wondering how he can have one positive and one negative test all taken on by same day. Wondering if he did stick for 10 sec on each tonsil and twisted in his nose enough. I am sleeping in spare room just in case for second night.

Need the loo.

Wondering why son has not got his completion date yet. He has been told they have everything they need from him, venders and building society so what can hold up be? He is 34 and saved so hard for deposit.

All these things running through my head stopping me from sleeping.

I was all ready for sleep until I started to think about a crush, that was 3 hours ago. Now I'm kept awake by dwelling on those things that creep up on you in the early hours...money, job insecurity, loneliness etc

Am living far too much in my head this week

I’ve had a stomach bug and I’ve been throwing up for two days . Not sure if it’s anxiety or hunger but my tummy feels funny and I’ve soooooooo much work to catch up on tomorrow. Worried to eat again tonight incase I’m sick. I have Just been eating plain toast .I also slept at 1pm - 5pm so that hasn’t helped. First zoom meeting is at 9am. Dog is snoring like a baby elephant 🤦‍♀️

I have never slept well. I generally wake up at 1am and stay awake until 5 ish. It's very frustrating and I'm exhausted.

Work. Far too much to do. Not enough time to do it.

Little one just done a 4am poop explosion, 4.00am shower for her and stripped all the sheets and fumigated the place. Feel ready to clean the whole house again 🤣

My lovely boy cat died this week - had to put him to sleep as whatever he ate or drank (possible antifreeze poisoning? we’ll never know) meant his kidney damage was irreversible and couldn’t see him suffer. Older girl cat is sat here like a lump and I can’t bear to move her. He’d usually parade in through the window sometime about now and displace her… He was such a beautiful boy, truly. What’s keeping me awake really is I should’ve fussed him more even when it was inconvenient.

My 11 month old baby woke up for a feed at 4am. He's back in his room fast asleep but I can't settle.

I wish I could just fall back asleep with ease but I think a year of no sleep has broken me!

Ate too much last night - upset tummy since 330 finally on the loo! Probably ate too late and unable to digest the rich food

Hi, I dropped off about 1am, awake at 7.30. Off to a festival nearby today with soon to be DH and DD so hopefully will be fun. Hope you all have as best a day as you can ans sort out your worries etc xx
