Where to buy plain leggings for little boys

I like to dress my two DS in leggings as they're comfier than jeans and I love the shapes of their little legs in them. They are 1 and 3 years old. There's always loads of feminine options with frills and flowers, I want pretty plain, or more general patterns, cheap and cheerful. I often buy from the girls sections but limited options as they often have flowers and frills

I always used to get DS leggings from Next to wear, they were good quality and not too expensive, mostly navy blue. They were from the girls section but it wasn't an issue.

PumpkinKlNG · 01/09/2021 22:05

Oh ok you mentioned having a 3 year old so I assumed you were looking for both

mswales · 01/09/2021 22:06

Anyone know where you can get leggings or nice casual cotton trousers with prints for boys age 5-6? I don't want dinosaurs or robots or rockets etc but the only brand that seem to do unisex cool printed trousers and leggings are really expensive like Frugi.

mswales - try Lindex, online unless the London Westfield stores are in reach for you.

Asda and Matalan

Dont see whats wrong with flowers?

Anyway. H&M, kite, frugi, duns, maxomorra.

ParishSpinster · 01/09/2021 22:13

I got nice ones from Blade &Rose and Jojo maman bebe. Both had the styles where there was a fun picture on the bum. Cute and comfy but thick enough they didn't look like tights.

H&M from autumn onwards. Gap too - may be online now? I got some rainbow stripes leggings that I liked.

Tiggles · 01/09/2021 22:18

Many years ago now, but I got my ds plain but coloured leggings off ebay.

ElfDragon · 01/09/2021 22:20

I used some fab pyjama sets from Costco for my ds. He had some great ones with fire engines, penguins, dinosaurs (and some with cats and birds that we don’t mention now that he denies ever having liked pink/purple 😂). American pjs fit much more closely, so the bottoms worked well as leggings.

As long as you don’t wear the matching t shirt at the same time they don’t look like pj sets (although for a 1 year old that’s not such a huge problem!)

Another vote for Zara

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 01/09/2021 23:57

Arket. They are listed in the girls’ section but they come in lovely plain colours, really good quality cotton, and the holy grail, adjustable waistbands.

Grumpasaurus · 02/09/2021 00:03

I buy my plain ones from:

Zara

Arket (often listed as girls but they are really unisex)

Polarn o Pryet (or however you spell it)

I buy cute but more expensive designs from Tobias and the Bear (https://www.tobiasandthebear.com/products/fox-print-leggings?gclid=EAIaIQobChMImNHsifHe8gIVdgIGAB2bgdsEAAYASAAEgJxVvDD_BwE)

totorostoes · 02/09/2021 06:04

Maxomorra, lindex, piccalilly
I’d say if you’re wanting plain, maxomorra do plain, if you’re wanting pattered and cheap lindex is best, they often have 20% off offers on, Piccalilly are lovely and soft

LutherRalph1 · 02/09/2021 06:13

Sainsburys

Hmm

I ha r 2 dd and gate all the frills and flowery prints too. Perfectly understandable OP wants an alternative for her dc

cultkid · 02/09/2021 06:26

H&M
Sainsbury's
Zara but it's more expensive

Newuser82 · 02/09/2021 06:28

Fred and Noah! Or ferox et ferus

bookish83 · 02/09/2021 06:28

H&M
Sainsburys
Lindex
George

All do plain ones. Sometimes they are in the girls section but they are clearly just plain leggings!

Libmama · 02/09/2021 07:05

My 2 year old lives in Fred and and Noah leggings. He’s a particular fan of the fire engine ones and the dinosaur. They have a fab selection and they wash and wear really well.

PurpleFlower1983 · 02/09/2021 07:17

I usually get my DD’s leggings from Next and the most recent pack I bought were quite neutral colours.

@PurpleFlower1983 thank you, I've just ordered two packs so they can continue to match Grin
