For me ... nothing too ancient really

A coin from 1860

A headmasters school log from 1850

A Victorian Bon Bon dish which is about 120 years old

A few other Victorian bits and pieces.

You?

Few fossils.

Household wise I have loads of 1970s stuff as I like a mid century look. My kenwood chef is early 1960s.

I also have a Bakelite bangle that my grandma gave me circa 1940s

I have my great grandmothers cast iron griddle, which my grandmother acquired in 1963, She used it weekly to make drop scones and remembered it from when she was little. Its well over 100 years old.

A ring that was my great great grandma’s (and possibly one generation before that). Have never worn it but won’t get rid either, my grandma left it to me and asked that I pass it on to a daughter or niece to keep it in the family.

My favourite old things are old family photographs from late 1800s and early 1900s. My treasure trove Smile

I have a beautiful very delicate bone china teacup from approx 1910. It came without a saucer but I managed to find another which is a pretty good match. I also have a selection of my MIL's kitchenware and cutlery from the 1950s and 60s, all in great condition and still used almost every day. And an aurora borealis glass bead necklace from the 1950s (was also MIL's)

A megalodon tooth that's about 2million year old perhaps.

I have a 17th century chest of drawers, 1680-ish I think. I like to imagine who's used it over the centuries.

My great great great Grandads Kara that I stole from my Dad, he will have been given it around 1870-1880ish. My son will be given it when I kick the bucket.

We have a couple of ammonites. After that it's the house - built 1715. Some framed maps from later in the 18th century. Last but not least my denim dungarees circa 1985 (properly Bananarama Grin )
