Pillows

Can anyone recommend decent pillows, pls? We seem to buy them every couple of years, think we are getting halfway decent ones from
John Lewis or somewhere, and end up with flat, unsupportive, lumpy bags after a matter of months. I long for those thick, plumped up types you get in decent hotels.

We can't do feathers as we're both allergic. Any recommendations gratefully received.

I've got a good memory foam one with a contoured shape from Dunelm mills. I've got others I have to pile up for reading in bed but that one is good for sleeping.

I'm really fussy about pillows. If it's the wrong one I end up with terrible head and neck ache. Have to take my own if I go away over night
I've always used Dunlopillow. It sort of a latex, Not like memory foam. Gives great support but always squishy, so doesn't feel like your head is on a rock in the middle of the night.

Oooh thanks for the tips! We do have some contoured memory foam ones but wanted some thick squishy ones as well. Will have a look at dunlopillow.

I sell pillows for a living and if you want the thick squishy ones it's always going to be feather that gives that look.

Unfortunately with allergies it's always going to be a man made filling which will always end up with that lumpy feeling after 6-12 months. I think the closest you will get to the feather look is a micro fibre filling.
