Anyone got Levi’s?

Are they worth the money? Any tips? I’m looking for black skinny ones but dont want to fork out £100 for them to last just as long as ones from new look etc

There's a Levi's online outlet you may find something there.

MissMarplesGoddaughter · 27/08/2021 14:53

I have Levi jeans and I really like them. They are so flattering and wash well and last well.

I would buy Levi's again.

Thelnebriati · 27/08/2021 15:09

I paid under £20 for a new pair on ebay (they didnt fit the person who bought them new) so look there first. They were on the snug side, but the denim looks good.
I'm fed up with cheaper women's jean, they aren't made of denim any more and they don't last.

I have a few pairs of Levi’s and the quality of the denim is much better than my New look and M&S jeans. My only gripe with them is that sometimes the zips don’t seem to be put in properly so the teeth don’t lock at the top and they come down. None of my other jeans do this (apart from one pair of cheapo primark jeans). Saying this one pair is around 8 years old and going strong and the others are about 3/4 years old, so they do wash and wear well.

If you can get a good pricey though I’d say worth the extra money, but check the zip.

babblingbumblingbandofbaboons · 27/08/2021 15:29

Really good quality, last longer than my £40ish jeans that I buy otherwise. It’s well worth getting the Levi’s app, as buying builds up points and they often run app exclusive discounts. Also, if anyone in your circle has a blue light card, they often offer 20-30% off!

Rtmhwales · 27/08/2021 15:43

Really great quality. I bought my first pair in NZ 7 years ago and regularly wear them (1-3x a week) and they still hold their shape remarkably well. They don't sag in the butt or anywhere so I bought more pairs. Ironic because I pay so much for them abroad when I'm originally American and could've got them for £20 Hmm oh well. They're the only brand of jeans I now own.

FionnulaTheCooler · 27/08/2021 15:44

TK Maxx seem to have Levis in quite often at reduced prices.

PersephoneJames · 27/08/2021 15:49

I’m still wearing the Levi’s I bought when I was 16, they’ve come back into fashion! Love them.

HighNetGirth · 27/08/2021 16:56

I like them. Always worth checking TKMaxx as they occasionally have some.

Fiestyfish · 27/08/2021 17:43

Oh amazing thank you! This is really good news especially as I actually have a blue light card too

They are my go to brand, but I rarely buy brand new ones these days. My 501s from the mid 90s when I was 14 are in far better condition than the pairs I've bought from Amazon in the 2010s.

There is a stall in town that does second hand/ vintage jeans and I am always on the lookout for ones in my size.

applespearsbears · 27/08/2021 23:33

I'm thinking of getting some either second hand old or newer styles, what is the sizing like? I've got so used to modern jeans having tons of Lycra I'm not sure what size to get in Levi's

WelshWhiskey · 27/08/2021 23:52

All my jeans are Levi. They fit so much better than any high street brand. Make sure they are authentic Levi jeans. There are so many fakes around that don’t fit well. Good Luck!

StarlightLady · 28/08/2021 06:34

I have Levi 711 in white mid rise. They are hardly new but still a lovely fit. I don’t know if you can still get them. I hate the current high rise trend. They feel as if they are going to cut you in half when yo sit down.

BritishSummertime · 28/08/2021 07:21

I find that only Levi's fit me properly, so have 3 pairs. One was bought here at £90 a few years ago but still going strong, the others were bought for about £20 each from an outlet in Orlando so if you ever go on there holiday stock up 😁

spotcheck · 28/08/2021 07:25

Try Vinted?

MorganSeventh · 28/08/2021 07:36

I've got them and I like them. They are of much thicker denim than £30 high street jeans so the cost per wear works out well. However, I search out sales and don't pay the full £100. Also the ones I have contain zero lycra, so if you're going for skinny look there will be limited leeway on sizing. They don't really stretch around you.

nicecheesegromit · 28/08/2021 07:43

Love them. Great fit on me

FlyingScott · 28/08/2021 07:43

I love Levi’s , they pretty much last forever.
Last time I bought jeans I made the mistake of buying a £30 pair from Next which ended up with holes everywhere after a year. So this year I went back to trusty Levi’s and was pleased to get a pair for £40 cheaper in the sale.

NutellaEllaElla · 28/08/2021 07:45

I'm a big fan and they often have sales.

TripleSeptic · 28/08/2021 08:06

Omg, I'm so jealous, I wish I still had mine. They were chucked after one of my many weight fluctuations, but I know I'd fit them now. They were the best jeans.
lanbro · 28/08/2021 08:15

I only wear Levis, found the perfect style and fit so stuck with them! Look on mandmdirect, they always have lots of reduced Levis, I don't generally pay over £50 for mine now

FindMeInTheSunshine · 28/08/2021 08:17

I wear Levi 712 jeans (they're slim, not skinny) about 90% of the time as they seem to be the only jeans that fit me. The only odd thing is that the different colours can be a slightly different fit, so I prefer to be able to try them on.

Softpebbles · 28/08/2021 08:18

They always have Levi’s in Costco but unsure if they are the same quality. Agree they are lovely denim but mine faded quite quickly (black).

Bobmonkfish · 28/08/2021 08:18

What style do you all choose? There are so many now!
