Kitchen Implements - cheapish

Hi. My young adult dd is moving flats and all her kitchen utensils including bowls, saucepans, glasses etc have basically either been damaged or "lost". Where can you buy ok quality but not too expensive kitchen implements from?

Many thanks!

Tesco cheapish

FindMeInTheSunshine · 27/08/2021 13:41

Homesense/TK Maxx is usually great for good quality stuff discounted, but agree that IKEA will do most things. B&M would be fine for things like cheap glassware.

TiredButDancing · 27/08/2021 13:41

Any of the big supermarkets or TK Maxx. And usually more convenient than Ikea too.

Caspianberg · 27/08/2021 13:44

Ikea. It’s far higher quality for the price than elsewhere. It only about £4 postage as well

notthemum · 27/08/2021 13:48

Wilko

TK max, aldi or Asda

Motnight · 27/08/2021 16:12

Thanks for all the suggestions, hadn't thought about places like Asda.

Charity shops!

I'm in the process of kitting out ds2 for university. Asda had kitchen stuff like utensils for 39p, handblender (he loves soups) for £5, bedding for £8, pan set for £20. No, it's not amazing quality but it's enough to get started.

Tesco had some good bits too. Wilko were more expensive than I expected but I still got 2 pillows for £6.

Charity shops are great for plates and cutlery too, and Home Bargains for electrical extension cords etc.
