Spider nest- what would you do?

There's a long legged skinny spider under my console table, and next to her a white round sack of eggs, and next to her and the eggs about 30 TINY baby spiders. What do I do!? I can't cope with spiders, but leave the long legged ones as I read on here once that they eat the big fat ones. Is that true?

I don't want to scare a new mother or take all her children away from her in case spiders feel sad about it- is that possible? My DH wants to Hoover them but I've come here to ask advice first. The babies are too small to trap and get outside without hurting / them all scattering everywhere arghhhh. DS4 thinks they're nice and we should let them stay until they are bigger and then put them in next doors garden Grin

Oh OP, please don't kill them Sad I used to do this and really regret it now and totally agree with @MissMaple82

@onemorenametry wrong, spiders are not insects. Look it up.

I think it’s adorable when all the baby cellar spiders hatch. Some hatched in the corner of the bedroom recently and I just left them. They’re sweet.
I’m terrified of the big black spiders though.

We've got loads of cellar spiders this year. Am terrified of them huge fuckers but can cope with the cellar ones cos they just sit in their web and don't move unless something gets caught in their web. I've got 2 in bedroom but don't mind them. In fact I've got quite attached to them and they're fascinating to watch when they've got a kill. I'm hoping it is true that they kill them big fuckers.

@ShinyHappySummers

Burn the house down & run for the hills OP! 🙈😱🙀
This is exactly what I thought.

Hoovering them up is cowardly imo. Just leave them alone, they are very beneficial and do not do any harm.

OP, I love that you're worried about making the mum spider sad. You are a very kind person. Smile

Yes, when it comes to spiders I am a self-confessed coward. That’s why I hoover them up.

I'm excited! I have just seen a cellar spider with a bit larger spider, larger spider is dead, first time I have seen one in action. I've got a picture too, have no idea how to upload it though.

I'm still deathlacing the shite out of my house this weekend though, but will look out for my spindly buggers!
