Perfume/Scent

I like to use nice smelling soap/shower stuff/body lotion, but I’m not really interested in perfume as an accessory IYSWIM. I might put some on if going to a party but otherwise I don’t bother. Anyone else the same? Or do you not feel dressed without perfume?

I don’t feel complete without perfume. I’ve got a very extensive collection depending on my mood. I’m not really a body/hand lotion kind of girl just unscented face moisturiser.

I used to love perfume. Now they set me off, same with candles, diffusers and even air fresheners. I get migraines and nausea with it also I stick to deodorant and mists if I’m feeling very daring

I love perfume and treated myself to an old favourite YSL Manifesto eau de parfum at the airport last month, I've had a strange year (haven't we all) living in a country going through a load of shit, and thought it would be nice to start my new life in another country smelling amazing. I've got a few others, SJP lovely which is quite cheap but smells all powdery and soft. I also have 2 mintures, one is Empoiro Armani In love with you, which is a vanilla musky scent and I have Lancome La Vie Est Belle rose edition which is a fresh rose scent for the days when you just want to smell clean a fresh. They make me feel good and I wouldn't like to have no perfume on the go.

I'm allergic to perfume and the smell makes me feel ill. There are so many people with medical conditions like asthma, migraines etc who re badly affected by it. I hate perfume addicts and see it as anti-social behaviour when someone wears so much that you can smell it a mile off. It's almost as bad as smoking and people need to realise how much their own choices have an effect on other people's health.

You don’t need extra perfume to smell clean and fresh. That’s what/soap/shower stuff/body lotion is for.

Perfume can be really overbearing if you wear too much of it. Some people wrongly seem to think that if they can no longer smell their perfume on themselves neither can anyone else so they put more on all the time.

I never reapply. I know full well that you get used to the smell. I don't mean perfume makes me clean and fresh, obviously. But some perfumes smell fresh, others smell musky etc. Each to their own but I love a nice perfume. If you don't like them then don't wear them. It's that simple really.

I love perfume, I have some very expensive ones and some very cheap ones which I like just as much as the expensive. My current favourite is CK Be, it's light and fresh and a little bit musky - not too overpowering.

I used to wear the Thierry Mugler fragrances like Angel and Alien but they, along with Chanel, now give me migraines so I prefer fresher, less pungent scents
