C section mum gift?

A friend is having a 2nd child (eldest is 7 years) by c section. They live in the top floor of a flat without a lift.

Any ideas for a gift, please?

The best gift I got after my section was a Snugglebundl - they let you lift the baby in and out of a cot with bending which was a lifesaver with the incision, and you can rock/swing the baby to sleep in it without straining yourself too. It’s a great gift for any new Mum but if she’s having a section I’d recommend it even more, I couldn’t have done without it!

*WITHOUT bending, that should say!

That Snugglebundl sounds fab I wish I'd had that!

I couldn't have done without my feeding cushion after my section but I guess that's breastfeeding specific... I did get given a lovely healing cream and oil set for my scar, that was nice.

No c section specific as I healed really quickly but the nicest thing I got was some lovely shower gels and moisturisers - mine were from rituals. Made me feel more human again and a nice treat when I did have the time to shower

Nice body powder - Lush and Neals Yard do some that are talc free. With both of my sections I found body powder was really helpful in keeping the skin around the incision dry and preventing an infection, particularly if you have a bit of a c-section ‘apron’. Team it up with some nice shower gel and hand cream and you’ve got a lovely mini pamper gift.

I was thinking, I would have loved some nice, loose fitting, soft, dark coloured, button down for bfing pyjamas. From somewhere like the white company where I'd never shop for myself. Ones nice enough so that I could be in front of close friends in them, that kind of thing.

I decided this as I was pulling my ratty grey 10 year old PJs out the drawer last night Grin
