I'm to lazy to look properly bur I did quickly search to see if there were any threads around!

What's happening today?

I'm in bed with a cuppa, DD at granny's for the weekend so it's very quiet! Walk the dog later,lounge around etc the exciting stuff 😂

What is everyone up to?

We have all of DH's family staying. It's pouring down, and nothing seems to be available in terms of indoor activities, so we're currently down to 'Plan E' of going out for lunch.
DH has had a 2 hour round trip to pick up his mum, and has now taken everyone out with the dogs for a pre-lunch walk. I've been to the yard to bring the soggy horse in for a nap, and have just spent a fruitless hour online/ on the phone trying to book an activity. I've now abandoned hope, so will get changed to go out, then have a cuppa if there's time.

A day of jobs. Renewing car insurance x 2, food shopping and sorting ds2 wardrobe.

I don't want to do anything but knuckling down so I can relax more tomorrow before going back to work on Monday after two weeks off

I have made a thai green curry, hoovered, eaten a bacon and egg roll, been to morrisons, done a wash and pegged it out, am contemplating a nice hot bath. We have people coming over tonight so need to make the thai spring rolls, get the cheeseboard set up, lay the table and make myself look presentable by 6.30.

Dh is chopping down a rose bush that is too big for its current spot

I’m eating lunch

Ds2 is playing something online with his friends

Ds1 is doing some homework (or pretending to anyway)

Dog 3 is playing with dog toys

Dog 2 is watching me eat my lunch

Dog 1 is asleep

I'm bored. Was going to get back out in the garden but don't fancy hacking at brambles in the rain. Thought about doing some bits for my Rainbows and Guides but my brain couldn't compute the prep for an activity we've previously done today, so I gave up & put that away. I think I'm tired so I'm going to do nothing much.

Both girls are Minecrafting.

We'll nip to the shop later for a bottle of wine & some treats for tonight. Probably milk too...always need bloody milk.

Food shopping, cleaning in preparation for friends arriving to stay tomorrow and probably popping out to a makers market in a bit. I need to do a short weights work out and should go for a run, but feel the moment has passed for the run. I was supposed to go first thing but had a couple of drinks last night and it was raining.

DD has spent the entire day doing an 11plus practice test that should have taken 50 minutes, she has wandered off now so will have to finish it after the market .

DH is away and DS is at work, so will pile whatever is in the fridge onto plates for dinner and do nothing tonight.

Well I was going to clean out the greenhouse and sow a few autumn seeds but it’s damp outside so I’ve made a cup of tea and nibbled some chocolate instead 🍫.

May browse a bulb catalog and try to persuade teens to put down their phones and help me prep some taco/nacho bits for dinner later.

I'm meant to be culling both my own and DDs wardrobes. So far I've pulled everything out of DDs wardrobe onto the floor and am now sat on my backside pigging chocolate orange buttons. No motivation whatsoever!

Dh and kids watching football. Im in the bath after a wet walk up Yr Wyddfa.

I am sitting here quite bored tbh. DS 25 has gone for a weekend in London and keeps sending us photos of his buffet Japanese buffet lunch. Last night it was Italian, all my favourites. He says they are going to a casino later, which has my DH very jealous. I’ve been for a long dog walk, got wet. DH made lunch. On way back a horse lorry pulled up and a cinderella type wedding coach was wheeled out complete with 2 stunning white horses, it was so lovely, such a shame it’s raining. So stood at my window wondering who was getting married, then off they trotted, so we don’t know who it is.
