Hi I’m just wondering what’s good to have in children’s party bags? What things do people enjoy and do people still do themed bags?

many thanks

What would happen if you served party rings or jammy dodgers?

I still do them. Things I’ve put in

Bouncy balls
Tattoos
Mini colouring books & crayons
Mini jigsaw
Mini notepad & pencil, rubbers sharpeners (tescos have nice sets)
Bubbles
Yo-yo
Mini slime
Airplane gliders….

I’m having a party for my 4yo in a few weeks, it’s all girls and Princess themed, I’m doing a sweet bag & also a bag with mini tiaras, wands, bubbles & a cupcake ( I’m getting the girls to decorate cupcakes and giving them a box to take one home with them.

Other nice things I’ve had in bags were a nice hair clip, the bd child’s DM made them and each one had the girls initials on them. Another time was little hand made keyrings with my DDs name on it.

OP I've looked at some of those pre made bags before. TBH I think it's really hard to find a price point which makes it worthwhile for you but which parents will pay. I wonder if the better business a model is to sell eco- friendly gifts to go in them. This year we included a "grow your own dinosaur" kit which was really a cardboard stencil and cress.

Like everything in life, it's a balance, so no to the plastic tat (unless it's capable of use over and over again - those little plastic spinning tops are endlessly fascinating here) but yes to slices of pizza and jammy dodgers.

I don't know anyone who has bought prefilled party bags. Between the endless poundshops on our high street and online orders, there is no need to pay anyone. I imagine the profit margains would be tiny.

I don't think you'll get things to fill the bags at a low enough price to make this financially viable. Unless you buy the cheapest nastiest crap from China in bulk that will break before it's played with and give the children chemical poisoning. I doubt this is a goer as a business idea, sorry!
