Just like the subject says.
Just over two years ago I purchased a Bosch condensing tumble dryer which recently stopped working. Luckily, or so I thought, I bought an extended warranty from the shop where the dryer was bought.
The insurance company duly sent a repair engineer who told me that because the machine is stacked, he wouldn't be able to move it and it needs to be on the floor for him to take a look at it.
So, what is the customer supposed to do. I can't move it on my own. There will be many people who have purchased such policies and won't be able to move appliances on their own.
Fortunately for me I currently have my two sons at home but they aren't always here. I spoke to the shop who sold me the policy to inform them that the product they are selling is not viable for many people and they have noted the problem. The shop told me that had it been then repairing they would send two people. The insurance company won't entertain the idea of sending two people even though I was clear that I had purchased a product that in theory I might not be able to use.
Can anyone recommend an extended warranty company that I can use that will actually be able to provide a service?
