What is your 8-9yr old girl like?

If you have a daughter aged 8 or nearly 9, what is she like/what does she do/what sort of things is she in to?

Reads masses and paints with acrylics.
Loves acting and has a part in a local production of Matilda so will be busy with rehearsals.
Loves gymnastics and swimming
Likes to cook her own meals and bake with me
Likes to be in garden on scooter and trampoline
Tries out makeup (she has older sister)

Very imaginative and creative she's currently going through a phase of making her own fidget toys after watching people make them on youtube! She loves horrible histories ( so do i ) and nature programmes. She loves dogs and anything glittery she's a complete horder!! I love her

My 8 year old is into screens, she'd spend all day if I let her, she loves Roblox and having group video chats with her friends while they all play it.
She also enjoys and is really good at making animation videos, she designs characters, animates them, adds text, music etc
I'm always torn over screen time, I do limit it but can see that she uses it to be creative and imaginative too, she wants to work in the animated film industry when she's an adult.
She also loves bike riding, role play games with her sister and dancing.

I don't think there's much harm in Roblox, OP. Try it yourself and see. It's quite relaxing in a strange way. I used to play games on a ZX Spectrum when I was my DD's age (I was 40 when I had her) and it does astound me how the technology has moved on.
