How to find a grave if you know the cemetery but not the location

My Nans parents and brother (14 when he died) are all buried in the same cemetery. She knows the location of her mum because she had a proper grave stone and she was at the funeral.

Her brother and dad died when she was quite young and she said they don't even have their names on the stones (she could be wrong)

She was quite emotional talking to me about this and said how she is so sad that she can never visit them.

Does anyone know if there is a way of finding out this information? I would love to take her.
Thank you

All parishes have grave maps, with co-ordinates and names. .

Many have literal maps at the front gate.

Cemetery records will be kept by the local authority’s Bereavement Setvice, churchyard records by the church or the diocese.

All graves have a number of the plot. Phone the local council and ask to be put through to relevant department, they should be able to help.

Ask in the office of the cemetery, if it has one. All the graves will be referenced, so if you give the info they should be able to locate it.

Thank you all very much. I'm hopeful for her!

There is a website findagrave.com

People submit locations of graves and/pictures for genealogical purposes. They haven't catalogued every single grave but it is worth a try as a first port of call.
