Looking for two recliner sofas and have seen the Jackson sofas on the Next website. Does anyone have these and if so, would you recommend them? Thanks 😊

We bought a cuddle sofa and chair from Next about five years ago, they’ve been great. I liked that there was a wide variety of coverings to choose from.

Thanks Bee do you mind me asking which range?

We have sofa and cuddle chair from next. Fabric rather than leather but for the price they were and the use they've had in almost six years, I'd say they have done pretty well. We had an issue that the inside of the cushion covers weren't sewn up properly, but this was dealt with quickly and without much hassle.

We have a corner one brought in the sale I am really happy with it

We also have some Sherlock chairs and they are good and comfy

We have the Stamford sofa and cuddle chair, it's been great. Very comfy and has held its shape if you know what I mean. Purchased in 2017.

Thanks everyone, sounding pretty positive so far. They do seem quite reasonably priced so was wondering about the quality 😊

We have a Garda and 2 Alfies and absolutely love them. Lovely fabric and really hard wearing.

CoffeeCake23 · 09/08/2021 16:31

Sorry to be in the minority.... we have the Stamford in the weave fabric and it's terrible. It's shape 'went' after about 2 weeks and it's gradually got worse. The seat cushions are now thin & sunken, and the back cushions are completely out of shape with no amount of puffing up helping. There are lots of online reviews saying exactly the same if you do an internet search.

Mine were purchased in Feb 2020 if that makes a difference. My research shows that more recent purchases have poorer review than those purchased several years ago.

Oh that’s rubbish coffee I’ve had a look at some of the reviews and they aren’t so good, nothing about any leather sofas though

We bought a Michigan corner sofa in faux leather in 2019. Absolutely hate it. As above the cushions are absolutely fucked and the material has creased and cracked as a result. Next sent a furniture inspector who considered it our fault for not plumping the cushions "properly" but the method he suggested took an age so not in keeping with modern family life, to my mind.

We have a couple of Next leather sofas and we sit on one each. We rotate them regularly, so they have equal wear. Happy with them.

lockdownvino · 09/08/2021 19:07

Had a leather sofa for approximately 12 years and a "love seat"/snuggle chair for almost 9 years. Both still look good and very comfortable. I really rate next furniture

AnnaSW1 · 09/08/2021 19:17

I had mine for a few years. A corner one. Not sure of the name of the range but it's withstood the rigour of babies and small children brilliantly so far. I think I'll buy my next one from there miles ahead in terms of quality compared to my previous Ikea one

theemmadilemma · 09/08/2021 19:41

I can tell you the shells are shite on Next sofas. But to be fair most high street ones are.

YorkieTheRabbit · 09/08/2021 22:15

We’ve had our two sofas for four years, came from House of Fraser and they are nowhere near as comfortable as they were when we first got them. I’ve seen some decent ones in Barker and Stonehiuse but they’re got a really long delivery time
