Pool toys

We're off on holiday and I'd love to get some fun pool toys for the children. Can anyone recommend some fun blasters, balls, floats etc?

No recommendations but the title reminds me of a time we went on a cruise that was populated by stag and hens nights.

DS1 aged 6 was fascinated by the 'pool toys' people were carrying around. (Actually inflatable penises).

More seriously- noodles? I love those. But possibly too large to carry in a suitcase.

Don't get water squirters! They actually really hurt and often the kids end up shooting them straight into a random adults face/ eyes and then it causes problems.

Diving toys are good, the sticks that sink but stay upright so can be grabbed easily, and mini inflatables that can be held onto and keep you afloat but don't take up tons of room back in the hotel room.

Yes to diving sticks or rings if the kids are big enough to swim without flotation devices.
It was huge, but the best thing we ever had was Kid-Ster Water Wheel 125x84cm [[https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007UAWGZA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_fabc_RKM8C5YFQF04EDT131FX?psc=1&_encoding=UTF8&tag=mumsnetforu03-21 a hamster wheel]]. Warning - needs a big pool - we had access to a 30m pool that was often empty.
Otherwise, the ride on clown fish / dolphins/ whales ate good fun, but not very stable.
