Comfort box for pregnant colleague - any ideas?

A colleague at work is pregnant and I’d like to put together a hamper/box for her for when at work. We are not in an office environment and it can be tiring. I will put snacks and a nice water bottle in. Any other ideas?

@BikeRunSki

I’d say that there us a very real danger of inadvertently getting scents/tastes/textures etc that she’d have difficulty tolerating.

I know traditionally ginger helps pregnancy sickness….. for me it aggravated it. I wouldn’t bear any scented toiletries and had a real aversion to sweet foods!

Great point-thank you! I know her cravings etc but hadn’t thought about smells which I short sighted as that’s what affected me most. We work really closely and are good friends. She’s having a tough time and definitely want to treat her rather than give her something that will make her queasy!

The idea of a ‘Comfort box’ sounds awful sorry OP.
I’m imagining it filled with maternity pads, bed protectors, lotions, breast pads and paracetamol.

A gift bag full of chocolate might be nice.

I shouldn’t have used the word comfort Grin

I get it isn’t everyone’s taste and that really isn’t what I’m asking. I hate Christmas Eve boxes so don’t comment on those threads as I assume the people making those know their kids will appreciate them. I do know my colleague and friend will like this and not find it awful or embarrassing or ‘ew’.

Maybe I’ll stick to all things edible.

Thank you for listing these and for the positivity!

I think it's a nice idea OP as you know her well. Id say a few things as a gesture but nothing over the top.
