Please recommend me a spa hotel

Any recommendations for a lovely spa hotel within 1.5 hours from NW London pls? I've looked at a few in Herts but they have very mixed reviews.

Congham Hall but possibly too far?

Hoar Cross Hall is apparently nice ? Friends go on the day options .
Aqua Sana at Centre Parcs ?

Another vote for The Grove.

Oh yes the grove is lovely. When I was a lot younger and not very experienced I was taken there to the restaurant on a date by a man who was a lot older. I wasn’t very familiar with much on the menu so ordered the steak tartare thinking this would be steak with tartare sauce on the side so relatively safe. When it arrived I was slightly shocked and then thought “oh it must be super fancy here and they come and cook it at your table” I honestly don’t know how I managed to force down essentially a plate of raw mince with a raw egg on top.

Oh how horrible Fizzy!!! Poor you. 😃

Thank you, we’re actually very close to The Grove and have been a few times, the spa is fabulous! Wanted to try somewhere new.

Sopwell House St Albans and Aqua Sana in Woburn (Center Parcs) are both lovely.
