Today I want to veg in front of the tv with chocolate.

No. I have two kids to entertain. A house to clean. Meals to make. We have already been swimming today. The house is a bomb site and my four year old won’t give me five mins peace.

I love being their mum and 99% of the time it’s all good but today I just…gaaah.

You’re confusing being an adult with being a parent. Not the same thing at all

Can I ask why have children
Hmm you can love your children more than anything in this universe and know you would die for them in a heartbeat but at the same time want to have a shower on your own or read a book for 30 mins. We are allowed to be a tiny bit frustrated from time to time we can’t do these things!

@HamsterHelp

Omg I know! Husband is here and helping out but god I just don’t want to hear “muuuuuum” every time I try to start something Angry

Also..the bickering. Oh god, the bickering

Years ago, before I had kids I used to hear things like this and think "oh for goodness sake suck it up. Just ignore it."

No I have kids and I get it. That noise just goes right through to your soul. The "muuumm" is utterly relentless. It is like being verbally assaulted. Once is fine. Aaaallll day every day is bloody awful.

I'm sorry. I have no advice. I've just had the exact same weekend. The screaming and whinging SadSadSadSad
