DD17 has high functioning asd and was recommended this excellent website by her maths tutor: https://aspiringtobeu.com
I just wanted to share as there are so few resources for girls and women, and this is so refreshing and well researched.
They have an Instagram account too.
I hope it's useful to some of you Grin

Thank you for sharing. My dd has recently been diagnosed and while we were waiting for a diagnosis, I assumed that once we knew, there would be a whole host of support waiting for us. How wrong was I!
One of the psychologists I have spoken to from an autism charity said how frustrated it makes her, if dd had been diagnosed with diabetes, we would have been given a nurse, full training, ongoing appointments and reviews. But she has been diagnosed autistic, so we’ve been left to get on with it as there isn’t enough money out there to support us. I am really interested in the research and am trying to learn as much as I can to enable me to support dd as best I can.

It's so difficult to find relevant information for girls and women. I really struggled
I hope your family member gets all the support they need
