Would anyone know if there is a flight search website that shows direct flights only ?

Is there such a thing?

Looking to fly somewhere (not from UK) that has a direct flight from a specific airport, but only want a direct fligh. Dates and destination are flexible, so even if it is a once or twice per week flight.

Skyscanner, Expedia etc, you need to put in a firm destination, It is a pain trawling through all the destinations and dates to find something that meets the criteria.

Kayak.do.uk You need to then select a filter for direct flights IIRC. If not I think you can filter or sort by duration.

I'm surprised Expedia doesn't have a filter for direct flights though?

Sky scanner has filters so you can filter on direct flights only.

Google flights?

You are right about sky scanner and expedia having a direct flight filter, but you have to put in a destination airport.

For instance if I want to check out Greece, I can't just put in that I want to see the options for direct flights only to any airport in Greece. I have to go through all the airports and then filter for direct flights. Then the same for Spain and Italy.

I am just being lazy !

Look at the website for the airport you are flying to and find out which airlines are arriving then check the airline websites directly for prices

Honestly try google flights, go to google and then select the flights tab, I just put in london to Greece and it came up with all the Greece flights Athens etc - you can see which ones are direct

I think Kayak have the option? You can select departure airport, date then leave the destination blank. It lets you select direct flights only:

www.kayak.co.uk/explore/LON-anywhere?stops=0

Go to the airport website. Have a look at the departures board. See if a destination grabs you.
Otherwise go to the airline page for airlines that go to your preferred airport, and look at their "where we fly" maps.
Once you have a couple of possible destinations, look at all the websites mentioned above, and select the "no stops" option having g given a destination.

Thank you !!!!!!

Yes, Kayak is the one !

I have never used Kayak before, but it is exactly what I want. Gives the list of direct flight destinations, the airlines that fly there and the days of the week fly.

Yes, if you look at the website for the airport, it often has a list of either which destinations you can fly to, or at least which airlines use that airport then you can use those airline websites to look at their route maps (I find this easier than a list of destinations that I don't always know where they are).

The current arrivals/departure board may be unreliable because many routes aren't running at capacity right now.

For example, using a random non UK airport that I know reasonably well and isn't massive so won't have endless flights:

www.bll.dk/en-en/planlaeg-rejsen/rejseinfo/destinationskort

BarbaraofSeville · 29/07/2021 11:33

Cross posted, Kayak looks good, I've never used that, but might have a look in future.

Another tip. When I've been searching for flights, I've noticed that sometimes Ryanair don't appear on the available flights, even when I know there's a flight on that route, so if the airport you are considering has Ryanair routes, you might need to check separately with them.

artquejtion · 29/07/2021 11:39

OMG, Kayak is an absolute revelation !!.

You can filter by Europe or US or wherever, and even by flight duration, Its brilliant.

They could maybe add a weather forecast LOL.

Pleased it was helpful! It always surprises me that it's not better known. I find it the most helpful for flight searches.

ISeeTheLight · 29/07/2021 14:44

I use KAYAK all the time (or at least did, pre covid). It's fantastic- great filter and search options. Much better than skyscanner IMO.

OhGiveUp · 29/07/2021 16:10

Flightradar 24 is excellent.

Skyscanner does that. You need to scroll down to the "anywhere" bit. Then you choose your country. Gives all the airports and costs.
