Any accountants on here - Panicking a bit about not having received a P45 or a P60

I did a really small amount of work (2 weeks worth) for a company on a PAYE basis and didn't receive any payslips, P45 or P60 from the company.

I'm now doing my tax return for year ending 2020 and have been told by my accountant I must provide them - but the company won't co-operate because they didn't like that I only stayed for 2 weeks.

Obviously the pay went into my bank account, thats the only evidence I have. What can I do?

Employee does not receive form P60 by 31 May
The employee should first ask their employer to give them a form P60. If they still do not get one, they should write to their own HMRC office

Re: How do I report an employer's failure to provide a P45? You need to telephone your tax office, who will then send the Company a reminder about their legal obligations. You also should write to the Company informing that due to them breaching their legal obligations you have spoken to HMRC about the issue

You could contact these people at tax aid.

Sorry, didn’t realise tax aid only assist people on low income.

If you're doing a tax return, that should mean you have a Government Gateway account.

You can see all income that's been reported for you on a PAYE basis in there, so it's just a matter of checking and confirming that it's correct.

I can see mine right up to the salary I received last Friday, so it's bang up to date. If this income is missing, you can search for the relevant employer and add the details. Do you know whether you were paid gross or net of tax and NI?
