10 year old girl birthday present

Sorry for repeating someone else's thread but with a different age child.
DD is going to a friend's birthday party on Friday. DD says herself that she is not like the other girls in her class and not interested in the same things (she likes Minecraft, reading, Japan-related things, recording videos of Lego figures) so I don't know what the other girls like. I asked what the girl likes and DD says she doesn't know because she never speaks to her at school as she hangs round with popular girls who don't let her talk to DD Sad. DD's friends that I have met recently are boys. What does the average 10 year old girl like that I can get from Amazon prime? (could go to shops if I have to but would rather not)

Why is she going to the party?
£5 in a card and a big chocolate bar.

I'd give an Amazon voucher or cash!

I have a 10yo and your daughters interests sound pretty standard for the 10yos I know, so maybe get her to pick something she would like.

My DD's friends was very into anime and Japanese culture. She bought her a box of Japanese snacks from Amazon.

My DD is 10 and likes Minecraft, reading and Japan too Smile
As you don’t know the girl in question I’d go to somewhere like Accessorize and buy a few bits from there.

My kids used to get a lot of £5's in birthday cards from party attendees. So I agree with @parrotonmyshoulder We also used to add sweets as well if my kiddo's didn't know the child's interests. Things like sour skittles or a large haribo bag.

Yeah, a fiver in a card and a box of maltesers is my go to if I don't know what they're into.

Bouncing putty, mini boos, hair stuff/ jewellery, something creative, dork diaries/ diary of a wimpy kid books.

Magicstars · 26/07/2021 09:52

Poppets & other sensory toys.

Gift aside I'm not sure I'd be very happy about my DD going to this party if she's likely to be ignored.
I certainly wouldn't be putting much effort into a gift.
I'd buy a card and something with the 'be kind' meme plastered across itHmm

My DD(9) is like yours and her best friends mum and I still can't figure out how they're such good friends!
I'd give a craft set, make your own Pom-poms or make your own soap. Djeco have some nice (on the expensive side) sets. Ravensburger do some nice paint by numbers or sequin by numbers sets. I work on the basis it'll do her good to receive something she wouldn't otherwise have received!

Any fidget toys. They seem to be very popular with my 10 year old and all her friends.
