Inspired by another thread where people were complaining about the really annoying ones. What channels can people recommend?

My offering is Jago Hazzard, to whom I've become slightly addicted. He does slightly nerdy but interesting videos on little-known stuff about London, the tube, and related topics. Lovely voice, and nice touches of dry humour. Here's the latest example -

I love watching Emmymade - a cooking/food channel, she cooks all sorts of weird and wonderful recipes, like strange 1960's American "salads", tastes unusual fruits and tries out things like military ration packs from around the world.
Also like "spend more time in the wild", an inspiring young woman with a real passion for being outdoors and getting others outside too. Lovely films of British walks and national parks.

is the best thing on the internet, full stop.

Also, How to Cook That with Anne Reardon - particularly her debunking videos.

Also, Daily Dose of Internet is just a teensy slice of heaven.

Map Men and Jay Foreman in general. He does some very funny little songs.

Jago Hazzard - stuff you don’t need to know but is fascinating

Tom Scott - short informative videos about everything, from language AI to places called Hill Hill Hill. Occasionally blows stuff up.

Bernadette Banner - Victorian sewing projects but she’s just lovely and eccentric

Micarah Tewers - another eccentric, just fabulous and talented

Rick Beato - talks about music production and utterly fascinating

TwoSet violin - violin youtubers, very funny and I don’t play violin

Lucas Brar - jazz/classical guitarist, comedy again

The Timeless Watch Channel - mostly reviews of watches but some other stuff. Beautifully filmed by an Irish ex rockstar who lives in Venice. Exquisite watches, stuff about wine, whisky, cigars, wonderful Italian scenery, all set to fabulous classical music.

Daz Black, He has a channel called gazgames, he does a series called 'daz watches' which are hilarious. He basically watches the strangest videos online and reacts to them, I have been watching him over the lockdowns and he has had me laughing for months.

Arun Maini aka MrWhoseTheBoss introduced to me by my ds (12).
Entertaining comparison videos on phones, accessories, tech fails, spyware... geeky stuff but really well presented with humour and he has two cute cats. Actually he's pretty cute himself. Believe you me, he has to be good to pique my interest as usually I glaze over at this stuff! Grin

The exPAWers - Nick and Sarah and their 2 little dogs in a tiny van. They were travelling all over, but are currently confined to Spain. I've watched their full back catalogue of about 300 videos, in lieu of being able to travel anywhere myself at the moment. They are very likeable and should have more subscribers than they actually have. www.youtube.com/c/theexPAWers/featured

@FeelingAwfulll

I like the guy who travels around the world trying different foods - Mark Wyans or something along those lines. Someone please correct me if that’s not his name.

Mark wiens is my fave too!! I'm on a diet right now so I can't watch it but he inspired my recent transition to healthy real food... my family are all wish I never found him as they'd rather eat anything golden

Leena Norms. Intelligent and humorous video essays about life, stuff and books.
Kingingit - welsh couple in a bus called custard. Hilarious
What Vivi did next. Retired nurse who grows almost her entire food stock on her tiny allotment. She's very chatty and it like listening to your nan natter on. Just delightful.
Justin & Juby. Beekeepers living in a bus with their toddler in North Carolina.
Geoff Marshall. All things train and tube nerdy stuff.
Map Men. Again nerdy stuff like Flags, Words, London transport etc but really funny.
Ondo. Young Korean vlogger who just shows us her normal day. What she has for lunch etc but it's not in a flashy way, it's more of a asmr vibe. Really interesting to see their daily life.

I watch YouTubes of watercolour painting. There are quite a few that do tutorials and some you can just watch painting. I like Shayda Campbell, Jenna Rainey, and Emma Jane Lefebvre. Andrew Geeson is another one. He uses very loose technique.

There are many others. I find them relaxing and inspirational.

I have also watched Kelly Latevola who is an amazing Copic colourist.
