Help! Would you leave to further career?

My current employer is in a dying industry. It's been badly hit by covid, and due to external factors i don't believe it's sustainable.

There is no chance of progression or training, and most people above me are totally incompetent and only got the job because they are friends or related to someone. I find this stressful and frustrating as no one is aware of new laws and regulations that affect my role. I have to work a lot of overtime as no one else can support or help me with my job.

But there are some good things... I have total flexibility over when I work and I really like some of the people.

I potentially have the chance to leave for a new job with at least a £6k pay rise. The new job has a proper structure and would be very different to my current job. It would probably be more work, less flexibility, but I would be within a proper team with support.

I'm only 30 so on the one hand, I feel I need to move on if I want a career. But on the other I don't want to feel a fool for leaving and losing flexibility.

What would you do?

Leave. Loyalty isn't rewarded in the world of work; experience is.

Leave. More places are becoming very flexible, so even if the new place isn't all rosy, you can move on in 6 months or so. You're only 30, so don't get stuck in a dead-end job.

Leave. It might be different if you were only a few years from retirement, but you have an entire working life ahead of you.
