I met a celeb today ... but who?

I met a celeb on the train today, the worst part is, I'm not sure who it was! It was all a bit stressful, I have a broken leg, my DP had been awake for around 27 hours and my kid was carrying some heavy bags.

She was so lovely, offered us a drink and some food and we had a chat through the seats.

She was about 40/45ish, with a very broad northern accent, asian heritage (I think)
If I heard her voice I'd recognise her instantly.

Who was my lovely celeb train neighbour?

It's Mina Anwar.

I knew her from TV, but it was the voice, I just knew I recognised the voice. Very distinctive.

yeah, sorry, cross post. I never heard of her but must be satisfying that she was identified & so nice.

Thank you for this, I googled her and knew her voice from her picture. I'm must have seen her in lots but loved that RazzleDazzle popped up. A lovely blast from the past, my big lumbering teen loved that when he was a tot.

So glad I was able to help!! It was her distinctive Lancashire accent that made me think it could be her. Glad to hear she is so lovely. I have always really liked her.
Couldn't come back to the thread last night as had things going on but was really pleased to see the outcome this morning.

Glad you've found out ☺️ It's annoying when you recognise someone but can't quite place them.

You are right her voice is very distinctive. I once walked past her on the street and she was talking on her phone. I knew who it was before I'd even looked up! Glad to hear she is lovely.
