Foxydry Airer - does anyone have one? And what do you think?

Does anyone have a Foxydry airer (either the ceiling mounted or the wall mounted)?

They look great online but what are they like in reality?

Are you happy with it?

Does the remote work well and are they strong enough for lots of laundry?

Tia

I am looking at these though the one without the remote as its much cheaper.
Be great if someone replies....

Thanks for replying, they are expensive and I don’t know anyone who’s bought one.

Hope somebody has that can give us a review.

They do get very good reviews on amazon (though I would buy it direct). The customer service sounds good too. I think I am going to busk it, I like the idea of getting the laundry up out of the way but less keen on hoisting up a large heavy wooden pulley...

I have the 80cm wall mounted version had it two years and love it, don’t know how I managed with out it. I also have the Lakeland drysoon heated airer and in the winter I have this set up underneath and get loads dry.

Brill, a reply!
Can you fit a whole load on the wall version Carrot?

Carrotco · 20/07/2021 23:04

Yes Depending what’s in the load and I have the smallest version as it’s the only one that would fit. I put shirts tea shirts, light trousers/ leggings on hangers on front bar and the odd jumper or sweatshirt well spun to reduce the weight. Heavy trousers go on bars behind, two may be three pairs for bras, socks, knickers one of those small driers hooked on the side see picture.

I struggle to fit in lots boxer shorts and duvet covers particularly double or king don’t work very well on the 80cm one.

Had it two years holding up well apart from slight bend in the front bar from the weight. Mine is very well made.I have it in my small kitchen find it great that I can have the washing lifted up out of the way.

It comes completely disassembled. The instructions were quite good but getting the cords to rise and lower it the correct way round was tricky. There is very helpful step by step video on YouTube.
