I probably will sound very selfish and I know many others will be in this situation with pre schoolers, but I need to moan to someone.

I work 4 days a week with a Wednesday off. Wednesday is my day to catch up on all housework, shopping and ideally an hours rest before school pick up. For the last 3 Wednesday at least one of my dc have been ill and off school. Each time only feeling unwell and nothing to come of it. Last 2 weeks dc got sent home with tummy pains but had no sickness or diarrhea. Now, today dd has a headache and tummy ache and was up a lot last night so will have today off.

I haven't had a days peace in over 3 weeks and the summer holidays will begin next week.

Today I also have a medical appointment I have to now cancel as I cannot take dc with me. Ive rearranged this appointment twice already.

Sorry everyone, just needed to moan to someone.

My 7 year old son kept saying he had a headache & tummy ache & I kept brushing it off & sending him in to school. Days later my DH started showing symptoms of Covid & then I started with symptoms turns out we all had Covid. You may need to get your child tested. Children display symptoms in different ways.

Where are the kids father/s? Why are they not taking the kids off your hands for several days over the summer?

Except @Kentuki, I’m already paying £100s to have my children in childcare in the summer, my annual leave is spread thin as it is, and I’d much rather spend annual leave in the holidays (which is contested and a previous resource) with my children.
