SP yes it was indeed Ruby's Diner which Google now tells me has closed!
How frustrating about SS as we visited both Newport & Laguna but didn't know about it.
Not a surfing bone in my body sadly, far more likely to be found in a horizontal position at the beach. That sounds wrong.
