Can you actually really get rid of cellulite?

Please tell me how if so! I’ve tried all the usual things that are recommended but I think it’s settling in for a long stay!

I had cellulite for the majority of my life, until my mid 40’s, when I gave up alcohol and dieted down towards the bottom end of my BMI.
I wish I looked like this in my 20’s when I was less saggy and young enough to wear clothes to show off my figure!

I got rid of thigh and bum cellulite by eating much more healthily and getting down to a BMI 19

Have you tried cutting right back on processed carbohydrates? As little refined sugar and wheat as possible, and drinking plenty of water?

I didn't really think about having cellulite but I started intermittent fasting combined with cutting right back on bread and refined sugar, and daily reasonably long walks a year ago.

After about two months DH asked me if I'd "done something" to my legs Grin and we both realised they'd become smooth where they'd been bumpy before.

I'd been focused on losing weight for health and not really thought about the texture of my legs...

Anyway it worked. The cellulite was gone long before I was anywhere near a healthy BMI, it was the diet change not hitting a certain BMI. I still drink alcohol 3-4 times per month.

No. Some people are more genetically predisposed to it. You can lessen it by losing body fat (as that's what it is) but you might have to get down to a really low body fat % for it to completely disappear which could be unhealthy.

I have tried eating clean and whereas I’ve lost weight my cellulite seems perfectly happy to stay where it is!

I have quite a lot on my thighs and bum, I have a normal BMI and am a size 10/12, I’m pretty active, I swim, I walk a lot and eat mostly healthy. I think my downside is sugar and sweeteners, also not drinking enough water.

I have just ordered a dry body brush to try 🤔.

To a certain extent I think some will always be there (if you squidge a baby's thighs you can often see it!) but mine was at it's least visible when I was at my fittest and thinnest (looking back I looked too thin really). Now I'm at a more comfortable weight it is more prominent but I try to accept it as part of me.

The only time mine went is from breastfeeding! From 8-14 months postpartum I had no cellulite! So I'm sure it's to do with hormones (no actual evidence) but anyway it's creeping back in now. But I've decided to follow a plan to get my hormones more in balance as apparently that can help

I got rid of mine by clean eating and doing 20-30 k steps a day. Bmi was higher end of healthy
