This ageing stuff is bullshit.

I strongly suspect she doesnt look that good in real life, these photos are edited. No one can get flawless skin at that age, even with botox etc. I used to think the same as you OP until I found out that the Kardashians don't let a single photo appear online that is unedited so I expect a lot of others do the same. Jlo is another one who never seems to age.
There are lots of non surgical treatments now that can help with ageing and skin texture etc. Morpheus 8 and collagen wave are good treatments but cost quite a bit and morpheus 8 is painful.

Shes beautiful but she has had ALOT of surgery. She looked virtually unrecognisable after a face-lift a couple of years ago.

I saw an interview with Debbie Harry in which she said she had work done to look better in photos but she knows it doesn't make her look better in real life. It was just part of the game for performers etc .

Wtf? She looks like a carved waxwork. Good luck to her but this bears no relation to the human ageing process.

Look at before abs after pictures of plain or seemingly unattractive people being transformed by makeup ... astonishing!

I imagine if you had access/could afford a personal trainer, dietician, chef, regular facials, daily makeup artist and hairdresser, dermatology and all sorts of potions and lotions you'd look fabulous aswell. Some of it must be genes and obviously a good diet but a lot of it is down to professionals and $$$$$

If you had a professional make up artist, hairdresser and stylist following you about, plus touched up photos, you'd look just as fab. Don't be drawn in!

Google "You're not ugly, you're just poor" and check out the image results. The reason celebs look amazing is largely because they have vast fortunes to spend on private chefs, dieticians, trainers, dermatologists, surgeons, dental work, makeup artists, hairdressers etc. The rest is down to genetics because being good looking to start with is often a prerequisite to being a successful actor/singer/entertainer etc. I LOVE Gwen. I've been a huge fan of No Doubt forever and think she is incredibly talented and seems like a great person too. But do I think No Doubt would have become a household name if she looked like me? Not a chance. Add to that the boatload of surgery she's had and all the other stuff I mentioned above, and it's obvious why she doesn't look like your average 51 year old.

I honestly wouldn't waste your time comparing yourself to celebs. Besides, the vast majority of the images you see are photoshopped and edited so the people themselves don't even look as good as the image that is projected. It's all smoke and mirrors.

She doesn't look like that though from having her hair and make up done and wearing good clothes. She has clearly had a great deal of surgery and injectables. Its so shit that women and young girls are made to think you can look like this naturally. The Kardashians do this all the time. Saying they just work hard, go to the gym every day, drink some diet tea made from dragons eggs etc etc. No, you've had hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of surgery over the years and don't look remotely what you would look like if you just went to the gym and ate healthily. I wish celebrities would be more honest about this crap.

I just googled her and wouldn't have recognised her either. She just looks like any other woman who has had lots of, admittedly good work done on her. If you put her in a line up of other blond women would you even be able to pick her out?

I saw some photos of the wedding yesterday - a link on Facebook - some of which she looked all of her 51 years, still absolutely beautiful of course, but the tellltale signs of age on her skin were there (crepey neck, lines on face), suspect they've now been taken down as funnily enough I can no longer find them! Accidentally posted pre retouching maybe?

I don't think Gwen looks good at all. I much preferred Kate Winslet's natural look in Mare of Easttown, hence my username! I also like the way some of those British actors in grim crime series have aged: Siobhan Halloran, Nicola Walker and others who don't seem to have turned themselves into waxworks.

I prefer the natural look. I think Kim Wilde looks great.
