Single parent worried about money...

Hi everyone, no judgement please.
I am a single parent to 3 girls aged 18, 14 and 6. (Older 2 from different dad)
My 18yr old is leaving to go to uni beginning of september. I am going to miss her terribly, she helps me out so much, think it will be a difficult time for me.
The older 2's dad pays me a very good amount of child maintenance a month, DD3 dad is not brilliant.
Obviously I am expecting this to go down by half when DD1 leaves me. My tax credits will go down too and will my housing benefit I guess.
I work in a preschool 25 hour a week, fits in well with DD3 (term time only) and I dont want to have to look for another job for more hours and money but I know I might have to.
I have been offered a part time nanny job but its shifts so would interfere with preschool very very slightly, we are a set up and pack away and would mean once of twice a month I would start at 9 rather than 8.15am to set up.
Would I be unreasonable to ask my manager if she would consider it and do a trial or should I carry on and not take it and see how I am after DD1 leaves for uni?
Sorry, I just needed to get that out as its been worrying me.

You can ask. But doing two jobs like this doesn't sound a very good idea to me. Work out your incomings and outgoings decide how much extra you need and take it from there. Juggling 2 jobs sounds hard.

Thank you, yeah the thought of 2 jobs is a bit overwhelming, especially when I would have to get my 6yr old to their house by 7am, I dont want it to affect her.
I have worked out finances and think I will be ok plus I do have some savings if I needed to fall back on that and am looking at what I can cancel, sky £70 a month which is ridiculous, spotify, amazon prime....

You could always try tutoring.

There are lots of tutoring websites available nowadays or you could try a agency etc.

It might be wise to record your expenditure on a spreadsheet or word document too for now. And see where to save up.
