I had one. They closed my account as I paid it off each month, then hadnt used it for a few months. I didnt ask to have it closed, they just did it. The interest rate was very high too. I will not apply for another

I have one, but I always pay it off in full. As I do all other cards. If they don't like that fact then they are welcome to close the account.

I never even look at the interest rate as always pay in full!

I was wondering about the benefits and thoughts?

I get a 10 voucher every 2-3 months. Just pay it off. You can use it everywhere but 50% more on Amazon.

How much you reckon you spend on Amazon monthly to get that every 2/3 months?

Worryingly between 2-300 hundred a month. I live in the sticks though it's nearly a 2hr round trip to big town which doesn't always have stuff. This month so far I've bought a wetsuit for eldest (80 quid) birthday presents (30 quid) wool (8 quid) it adds up quickly.

It says you get 3 points per £2 spend which is 1.5% when taken as Amazon vouchers which is very good.

However, is it 3 points per whole £2 so if you spent 1.99 you might get nothing, it's also probably worth checking for exclusions, ie purchases from third parties.

You also get a small amount when using elsewhere, but you can do better, eg I have a Barclaycard that pays 0.5% cashback that usually works out at £100 to £150 per year.

The Amazon card is probably worth it for the initial £20 and points for Amazon purchases, but not really for purchases elsewhere, although you might decide it's not worth running two cards by using another card for supermarkets etc. Plus always pay off in full every month. If you're wanting to borrow money for more than a few weeks, there's likely to be cheaper ways.
