I’m on the sofa watching YouTube whilst having a cuppa. Dcats are fed and gone rambling. DH is still asleep as is DD plus 2 of her friends who stayed over.

Once DH gets up we’re going to do a hike in the mountains near us. That will take a couple of hours then we’re coming home for breakfast.

Later today we’re going to the cinema for the first time since January 2020 and we’re stupidly excited

I am about to get up and strip the bed. I have been confined to my room with covid for nearly a week and am finally allowed out today. I will be washing and cleaning everything then hugging my DC. And maybe DH if he's lucky.

Secretly, I will miss the solitude. But don't tell anyone.

DS is out of isolation this morning so is clawing to get out of the front door! Has had proper cabin fever this week.

Ds and dd are having breakfast, Dh is still in bed and I'm mumsnetting.
Going to visit grandparents today and I have a too good too go from greggs to collect later and I'm really excited about it (sad I know).

In between I've got washing and decluttering to do. It's raining hard here so our plans to go to the park have been scrapped.

I’m on the sofa, drinking tea and eating toast. DP has just given DD an emergency bath after a little accident. She’s now holed up in her room watching YouTube kids.

Not much planned for today - very rainy here, so we may try to get DD out to a local country park that has an indoor pavilion for kids with SEND.
Roast chicken of some description for lunch. Loads of laundry, and maybe a bit of crochet if I get a moment’s peace.

In agony I’ve done my back in again, I can’t lie or sit properly codiene hasn’t really helped.

We’re on holiday with teen DS and his friend who are both still in bed. I’m MNetting and DH is reading the paper on his tablet, and we’re both having coffee. I’ll make the boys a cooked breakfast in a bit, it’s less messy if I do it, then we’re taking them swimming and to a trampoline park as the weather isn’t brilliant. Hopefully it’ll be better later and we can get down to the beach this evening.

In bed having a cuppa with DH. Will get up and make a cooked breakfast shortly - the smell should lure teen DC’s from their sleep. Will take DD to work at 12 then come back to watch the Grand Prix with DS and DH. Takeaway for dinner tonight after I’ve picked DD up from work.

3 out of 4 of us have covid so we’re going nowhere 🙄. I’ll probably spend today printing out the reams of home school stuff for next week, batch cooking a couple of meals for the week and dealing with arguments about fortnite. Roll on Friday when I’m allowed out again!

We’re isolating as me and DS have Covid 😭. DS is fine, running about the house whereas I feel terrible. I’ve had both the vaccines which I’m glad about as I dread to think what I would have felt like otherwise! DP is negative but obviously isolating as well, he’s still in bed, DS is playing on his Xbox and I’m lying on the settee watching The Sopranos (for the 10000th time). 7 more days of isolation to go, I’m so bored and fed up!

Woken by cat at 5.15 am...got back to sleep for a bit but up again at 7am to take puppy for a walk. Hoping to have a nap this afternoon.

We've got a few odd jobs to do today, measuring for a new front door & reading the meters. DS age 15 will be studying for his final GCSE mocks next week & will pop to the gym. DH will be doing his hobby plus will join me on another dog walk, it's sunny at the moment but rain is forecast for the afternoon. I'll be making rock buns for DS & spaghetti Bol tonight, plus changing all the bedding. Love quiet Sundays

Im currently sat watching DS have his swim lesson then we're home for a day of housework and general "lets get ready for the week" type stuff.

Youngest DD has a grotty cold and I'm getting it too (negative covid). There'll be lots of tea and telly/YouTube/Fortnite for all of us today, followed by a cheeky takeaway tonight.

I'm the only one up so far, having a cuppa, listening to the birds outside & occasional shout from the neighbours kids.

There's last night's pots to wash up, I need to book a shop, baking for pack ups and a pie for tea to make, and someone (hopefully not me!) needs to nip for loo rolls and spuds.

I expect the girls will sleep a while longer, play Minecraft, watch Twitch streamers playing Minecraft or doing stupid things, & get early showers.

I'd like to do some more of one of my crochet projects later on too, how long my list above takes will determine whether it's the small one or the big one :)

Dh, ds and I have had boiled eggs, dd is still festering in her room. Going to do a bit of tidying, and then go to a car giant type place as I want to get a new car but undecided which model.
Kids have karate late afternoon then I’ll do toad in the hole if it’s cool, or a bbq/salad thing with sausages if it’s warm.
Then later I will nag the smelly preteen and teenager into the shower.

I’m watching a box set on tv, on MN and drinking tea. DH is already working. I have barely seen him for six weeks due to his workload :(.

If weather ok I will be gardening. DS will start to build the raised vegetable bed and were planting a hawthorn tree. His GF is staying for a few days. I’m playing my online game later with five friends and trying an incredibly difficult mission. It’s a huge MMO style game that I have played for a few years. I have only met about 5% max other players who are women, I love the game and I play at the hardest level of content.

I had to take our 7yo for a PCR test instead of my usual early swim at the lido

He and DH are now gaming.

I’m going to enjoy the peace with my book and start on CBT for my peri-menopause related moods.

We’ve got roast chicken for lunch. I might even make the turnip curry I’ve been meaning to try.

DH is in the shower, I’m still in bed with a cup of tea. Once I’ve finished that, I’m going to take the puppy for a walk (just me, alone. silent) and then come back and clean the house. It’s absolutely filthy because we’ve both been so busy working or had guests and had no time to clean after they left earlier this week!

Once that’s finished, I’m going to cook roast pork for dinner, and then have a nice long bath. It’s going to rain for much of today here (carefully timed that walk) so taking advantage of the excuse to stay in.

DH will clean his portion of house whilst I’m out too. DC1 is still in bed sleeping off the football last night DC2 was up uncharacteristically early and has already tidied and cleaned his room! He’s now gaming, but he’ll be doing homework after lunch. DC3 is refusing to get dressed all weekend, he’s knackered at this point of the year and finds the upcoming changes stressful (ASD) so we’re leaving him to it. DC4, however, is a Duracell bunny. We will try and encourage her to clean and tidy her room too, but once that’s done she will likely be spreading glitter everywhere again anyway crafting a masterpiece of some sort. She will possibly try and tag along on my walk so I’ll need to sneak out!

DD is at her friends house from 11 for the day. DH is going to do some bits on the house and I’m taking the boys to a dinosaur adventure day with my sister and nephew.

Sunday night is always early bath & movie night in our house so DS1 will pick the film as DD chose last week.

I'm the only one up. Teenage dc all in/back from university but are still conked out in their rooms. I took DH a cup of tea at 9.30 but he hasn't surfaced yet. Oldest will be going to watch the rugby with some friends this afternoon, having rolled back from the pub in the small hours. I'll do brunch for everyone later and roast a chicken for supper, when we'll probably have DS's girlfriend with us too. Last day of self-isolation for me after an app alert, so unfortunately will have to stay at home rather than the long walk I'd planned. Will do some gardening if the weather's good enough - but not looking likely at the moment.

DH and toddler have gone to do the supermarket shop, DS1 has gone to play at DMs (she misses him as she looks after DS2 in the week but DS1 goes to after school club).

I am having 10 mins peace then deep cleaning the flat to music. I really want to move DHs desk out of the living room but I'm not sure there is anywhere else for it to go.

I’ve got a poorly 9 year old dd, pcr negative.

She has been delirious all night so I’ve been awake getting calpol and nurofen down her.

Got 3 loads of washing done/out, keeping an eye out though, it’s to rain shortly. Going to church, lunch and roast for dinner….lazy day on a Sunday

just picked up DS3 from his friend's. they have an absolutely gorgeous dog I'm in love with and I've been talking about him so much my youngest wanted to see him.
now they also want to keep him🤣

just about to go to church then PILs are coming for lunch. I think I'll need a nap this afternoon, adrenaline took a while to wore off after last night's game and so today I'm knackered already

Dtwins 16th birthday , DT2 up, dressed , opened cards etc watching f3 with DH. DT1 still in bed I'm chilling with a coffee before a walk along canal if rain holds off and cleaning up after the plastering of my hall,landing,stairs.
