It’s always been marks and Waitrose.

Can’t stretch to it now!

In your view, cheapest but also good quality supermarket?

Thanks

I loved Morrison's, their stuff was always good quality and good prices. And then they shut our local one. Sad

I now shop at Tesco, it's slightly more expensive but the quality is good.

I swear to god I sound like an Iceland brand ambassador on these threads, but they are brilliant for frozen fruit & veg, pretty low prices, free delivery over £35, and they do same day delivery. Plus they sell massive bags of frozen pomegranate seeds for £2, which is kind of unexpected. Their smoothie mix is great too if your DC are fruit raiders like mine are.
Absolutely agree with you. It's really underrated. We love good food and I often shop there. People always look surprised They don't know what they are missing

Unfortunately, the best value for money and quality means going to two or three different shops each week. Annoying - but you’ve got teens to do the heavy lifting for you!

Also, check out Costco. For big eaters, they’re often not bad. Not necessarily cheaper always for fruit and veg, but you can buy large quantities in one trip for the same price or lower.

Yup - I recommended Iceland upthread. My friends are very surprised I shop there - I have a “Waitrose income” Grin

But for unprocessed frozen vegetables and fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) it’s great. I’ve been enjoying their tuna steaks as well

Iceland to fill your freezer, the local Asda is cheaper than Tesco on most things but Tescos meat is better.
Asdas own brand loo roll (Shades) is the best value one imo. The family notice if I get a different cheap one, but not if I have to get Andrex.

Look for your nearest international supermarket for herbs & spices, beans, pulses and tinned toms.
